Dr. Li-Tang Yan received PHD from Tsinghua University in 2007. Then he went to University of Bayreuth, Germany as a Humboldt Research Fellowship supported by Alexander von Humboldt foundation. From Jan. 2010, he joined the group of Prof. Anna Balazs as a post doctoral fellowship in the University of Pittsburgh, USA. Since May 2011, he became an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University. Dr. Yan’s research focuses on the application of multiscale simulation in the structure, self-assembly, property and transport for various soft matter systems. He has published about 50 peer-reviewed papers in the journals like Prog. Polym. Sci., ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Macromolecules.
