WANG Tingjie

Prof. WANG Ting-Jie graduated from Beijing Normal University, and obtained PhD from China University of Mining & Technology in 1993. He has worked in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tsinghua University since 1993, becoming a professor in 2002. His research interest is particle technology, including particle structure and function design, preparation and dispersion, surface coating & modification, coating granulation, control release, novel granulation, fluidization etc. Researching technology design, process optimization, new reactor and scale up, the particle size is from nms to mms. The current research projects includes fertilizer granulation, multi-component coating granulation, and film coating for control release; film coating and organic modification of nano and micro particles; adsorption process and technology; adsorbent and its granulation for water treatment, spherical granulation of wax, the particle display technology through electrophoretic and magnetic-driving; and fundamental research on the particle preparation, surface coating, modification and the function control.
