Professor TANG Liming received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. at Tianjin University, China in 1989 and 1991, respectively, and received his Ph.D. (Polymer Chemistr y) from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science in 1994. Then He worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University from 1994 to 1996. He has worked in the department since 1996, becoming professor of Polymer Science in 2009. As a visiting researcher, he worked at the University of Hamburg from 1998 to 1999. His research specializes in the field of supramolecular polymers and fine polymers. Work is directed at supramolecular polymers, supramolecular gels, hyperbranched polymers, coatings and adhesives. He has more than 220 journal published papers with more than 135 of them cited by SCI. He teaches Polymer Chemistry and Fine Polymer to the undergraduate.
