Dr. LU Yangcheng received his B.Sc. (1998) and Ph.D. (2003) in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, and works as a faculty member in following. Besides, he had a one-year stay in MIT as a visiting scholar in 2013. His research interests are micro-chemical process, chemical process intensification, and fine chemicals. His current research includes microreactor and microchemical system, solvent extraction, liquid phase nanotechnology, fine chemicals synthesis, and flow polymerization. He has 150+ SCI-cited publications and 70+ authorized patents. In recognition of applications and impacts of his work in caprolactam and phosphorous chemical production, he was awarded ‘National Award for Technological Invention’ in 2012 and other seven provincial/ ministerial level scientific research achievement awards. In 2013, he was elected to Outstanding Young Investigator Award (China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation) and Hou Debang Young Investigator Award (Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China).He also was granted financial support by Outstanding Youth Science Foundation (NSFC) in 2014.
