Professor GUO Baohua received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in chemical engineering at Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University. He has worked in the department since 1992, and then was promoted as a Professor in 2004. His current research interests include 1) Environmental Friendly Polymers; 2) A Study on Preparation of Polymer Scaffold for Tissue Engineering; 3) Fundamental Research on Polymer Condensed State; 4) Reactive Extrusion, Compatibilization of Polymers and Polymer Processing; 5) Polymer Blends and Nanocomposities; 6) New Energy Materals. He was awarded Beijing City Awards for Science and Technology Progress (Second Class) in 2000 and 2003, respectively.
