DING Li

Dr. Li Ding obtained his doctoral degree in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from South China University of Technology in 2019. From July 2019 to July 2022, he worked as postdoctoral researcher at South China University of Technology. In August 2022, he joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University as an assistant researcher. In 2018, Dr. Li Ding received the outstanding doctoral dissertation innovation fund of South China University of Technology. He received the best oral presentation Award at the 13th conference of the Aseanian Membrane Society. And the first prize in the Basic Research Achievement Award of the China Chemical Society in 2023. He was selected as the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by Beijing Association of Science and Technology (2023-2025). He has been dedicated to the research of membrane separation technology, including the structural regulation and application of novel two-dimensional membranes, industrial application of water electrolysis membranes, and the application of hollow fiber membranes. To date, he has published over 30 SCI papers in journals such as Nature Sustainability, Nat. Commun., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Adv. Funct. Mater., and co-authored the first English book on MXene membranes. He holds more than 10 granted patents. He has led several projects, including National Natural Science Foundation projects, sub-project of National Key R&D Program of China, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects, China postdoctoral projects, and various collaborative projects.
