Dr. Dayin Sun graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Dalian Polytechnic University in 2012. Three years later, he obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from the same institution. Subsequently, he was awarded a Doctoral degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Liaoning University in 2019, during which he had the opportunity to undertake joint training at the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Physics and Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From November 2019 to November 2023, he pursued postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University. Since March 2024, he has been serving as an Assistant Researcher in the same department. His research specializes in the scalable production of Janus materials and their application in interfacial engineering. Notably, he received funding from the National Science Foundation for Young Scientists in 2022, and he has successfully achieved the technological transformation of an environmentally friendly oil-water separation technique.
