Prof. HAN Minghan received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Petroleum, China in 1997. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University during Jun. 1997 to Aug. 1999. He has worked in the department since Sep. 1999, and was promoted as a professor in chemical engineering in 2011. He worked as a visiting scholar at the Stuttgart University, Germany from Apr. 2001 to May 2002 and as a Humboldt fellow at Dortmund University, Germany from Jul. 2004 to Jun. 2005, respectively. He teaches Industrial Catalysis and Green Engineering Principles & Applications to the undergraduate. His research specializes in green catalysis and chemical reaction engineering, and his research interests mainly focus on applied catalysis for environmentally friendly, energy- and material-efficient chemical processes.
