Dr. Guo received her BSc in polymer engineering in 1986 from Tianjin University, MSc in 1988 from University of Joseph Fourier (France) and Ph.D. in material science in 1991 from National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble (INPG), France. Then, she went to the UK, where she worked with Prof. Mckillop, Prof Taylor, Dr. Haines and Dr. Cammidge on the synthesis of natural compounds and potential drugs. She has worked at Tsinghua University since 2000. Her research interests include conductive polymer composites, polymer nanocomposites, polymer nanoblends, functional nanofibers, hemostatic materials, natural biomaterials, materials chemistry, etc.
