主要研究方向为(1)高分子材料老化降解机理、稳定性评价及寿命预测;(2)储热相变复合材料;(3)高分子材料结构性能关系。承担多项国家自然科学基金项目、重点研发计划和支撑计划课题、国内外企业合作项目等。发表论文100余篇,撰写英文专著章节2篇,授权专利10余项,受邀国内外学术报告15次,获教育部自然科学二等奖和北京市科技进步二等奖各一项。撰写中文和英文教材各1部,受邀为加拿大Alberta大学研究生教材撰写1章。2006年度获得“清华大学班(级)主任工作优秀奖”一等奖,2010年获得清华大学第四届青年教师教学大赛(理工科组)一等奖,2012年度获得清华大学 “青年教师教学优秀奖”,2012和2020年获得清华大学优秀教材二等奖,2014和2019年获得清华大学教学成果二等奖。
