研究方向为颗粒工程学 (Particle Technology)。研究化学工程中的颗粒问题,涉及颗粒制备、性能设计、控制释放、稳定分散、无机包膜、有机修饰、吸附净化、包覆造粒、熔融造粒、流态化等内容,研究工艺设计、过程优化、新型反应器及工程放大,颗粒尺度从数纳米至数毫米。承担国家级科研项目8项,省部级、企业重大和重点合作项目40余项,获得省部级奖项4项,多项技术成功实现产业化。指导博士生、硕士生毕业40余人。发表学术论文100余篇,SCI收录70余篇,中国发明专利10余项。
