长期从事复杂体系热力学理论和方法研究。综合运用经典热力学、统计热力学和量子力学理论与现代计算技术,发展分子模拟新理论与新方法,揭示复杂体系在不同环境下的构象转换、聚集、反应和分离行为。在Nature Communication, ACS Nano, Nano Research, JCP, JPCB/C, PCCP等发表SCI收录刊物论文80余篇,撰写英文专著章节4篇,受邀撰写英文综述5篇,译著1部,教材1部,公开和授权发明专利10余项。2008年获得全国优秀博士论文奖,2012年获得清华大学基础研究人才计划支持,2013年获得北京市“青年英才计划”支持。国际会议报告多次获得最佳报告奖(2009, 2011, 2013, 2016, 2017)。2017年获得北京市高等学校青年教师教学基本功大赛一等奖,最佳展示奖和最佳教案奖。2018年获得清华大学青年教师教学优秀奖。
