一直致力于酶促油脂制备生物能源、生物基化学品过程中的应用基础研究,解析非水相酶催化过程中酶活性和选择性的影响机理,开发高效酶催化剂、先进转化技术和装备,并促进其工业化应用(酶法制备生物柴油技术已在万吨级装置上实现产业化)。发表SCI论文60余篇, 2014-2019年连续六年在Elsevier发布的中国高被引学者(Most Cited Chinese Researchers)榜单中入选。获得中国发明专利授权24项,国际专利申请在美国、巴西等20余个国家授权。先后获得2016年度中国石油化学工业联合会“科技发明一等奖”(第一完成人)、2016年度全球可再生能源领域最具投资价值领先技术“蓝天奖”(第一完成人)、2015年度日内瓦国际发明专利金奖(第二完成人)、国石油和化学工业协会“2014年度青年科技突出贡献奖”和中国化工学会“2015年度侯德榜化工科技青年奖”。
