| The advances in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine rely greatly on the developments of new biomaterials and techniques. Nano-biomaterials mimicking the architecture of natural extracellular matrix have opened an exciting perspective for tissue regeneration. The temporal and spatial controllable delivery of bioactive molecules plays a pivotal role in the successful regrowth and functionality of regenerating tissue. In this presentation, I will describe our strategy of nano-biomaterials and scaffolds design, synthesis, and fabrication for tissue regeneration (cartilage and bone). I will also provide the example of designing a temporal and spatial controlled implantable delivery device for osteoporosis treatment.
