 Research Interests:       

 

     Chemical an biomolecular engineering fundamentals including 1) Enzyme modification via conjugation, encapsulation, and immobilization, and its application to industrial biocatalysis; 2) In vitro protein refolding with SMART polymer as artificial chaperones: simulation and synthesis; 3) Molecular imprinting and its applications to chiral separation; and 4) Bioremediation of oil contaminated soil and its pilot demonstration. Our study is characterized by joint efforts from computational chemistry, material science and chemical engineering to maximize capability of biological molecules in a given industrial environment. These efforts are supported by National Natural Science Foundation, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Sinopec., etc.
