Eco-industrial system engineering

Combining the process systems engineering and chemical engineering principles with industrial ecology and circular economics theories, exploring researches on eco-industrial system analysis and integration, complex eco-industrial system theory, circular economics et al, proposing some methods, such as thermodynamics analysis, metabolism analysis, symbiosis analysis, flexibility analysis, material integration, energy integration and system optimization. These methods were successfully applied into practice to guide planning and study for different national or local eco-industrial parks and circular economic demonstration projects.
